This handmade one-of-a-kind porcelain vase is imbued with layers of gestural glazes. This piece is purely sculptural as the traditional vase opening has been closed while sculptural openings have been carved into the surface of the form. The wheel thrown pedestal is made of a sculptural stoneware and fired for three days in a wood-burning kiln creating a rich and natural surface.
